Itinerary
Day 1 December | Arrival in Accra – Welcome Home
Arrive in Accra where you will be met and welcomed at the airport by one of the team before transferring to our accommodation.
After time to rest and refresh, join the group in a relaxed evening setting. This allows everyone to introduce themselves, share their “why,” and begin forming connections in an atmosphere of warmth and intention.
Day 2 – Accra City Tour
We begin with a guided tour of the capital, Accra which includes:
Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum – an inspiring tribute to Ghana’s founding father
Black Star Square – A Symbol of African independence
Arts Centre for National Culture – Crafts, textiles, and culture
Optional visit to the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre – a Father of Pan-Africanism
We end the afternoon at the fabulous Labadi Beach, enjoying ocean views and relaxed
December energy.
This day provides context — Ghana as a sovereign nation, not only a place of memory.
Day 3 – Ancestral Journey | Cape Coast
Travel to Assin Manso, the site where enslaved Africans had their final bath before being taken to the coast and across the Atlantic Ocean.
We continue to Cape Coast Dungeon, walking through the confined chambers and standing at the Door of No Return – we did return!
This is a solemn and deeply moving experience. Undertaken together, it often becomes the emotional centre of the tour.
Lunch is served at Oasis Beach Resort, followed by an opportunity to walk around bustling streets of Cape Coast.
Day 4 – Reflection & Return to Accra
A calming day before returning to Accra.
Have a lie-in and chill. Journal, sit by the pool, deepen connections.
Many find this essential to decompress and reflect on the ancestral path that
brought us back to this place.
Optional group dinner in the evening in Accra.
Day 5 – Culture & December Vibes
A flexible day for independent exploration, shopping, or relaxation.
In the evening, experience Reggae Night at Kalabash Hub — live music, energy, and a beautiful blend of continental Africans and Diasporans connecting through culture.
December in Ghana is vibrant, celebratory and fun!
Day 6 – Renewal Day | Asenema Waterfall & Spa Experience
